Not only did my stress level drop, but there was a huge change in my blood pressure. I felt as refreshed as if I had detoxed and now I was ready to go to bed.
I stopped receiving calls after 9 pm.
I'm an individual with a gift for talking. By communicating with friends and family, phone calls can continue for hours. They can be a lot of fun, but they can also be too stimulating, depending on the subject of that particular night. However, I have decided to mute my phone to alleviate the fact that I am too tired to sleep. This prevents me from being tempted to answer my phone, check my email, or consult other social networking sites.
It has integrated me and my environment.
The beds look very cozy with pillows and nice comforters, just like when you go to a hotel. These beds look very impressive and attractive. I do the same thing in my home. I make my bed with pillows and things like that. My bed is attractive and cozy. I take the TV out of the room and stay away from hotels. That may be a drastic thing to do, but it has created an atmosphere for me to sleep in.
Giving your body the rest it needs to deal with tasks gives you mental clarity, improves functionality, increases your mood, decreases irritability and restlessness, and makes you feel rejuvenated and refreshed.
I am one of those individuals who needs 8 hours of sleep. Now, it's true that I don't get a full night's sleep, but I'm scheduled for a night's rest.
